amazing Peter isn't it it's absolutely brilliant thoroughly deserved indeed no doubt about that apart from that time we seen him outside left before we turned him on his first cap we seen him outside left going from right back to outside left down at Kilmarnock alright but he still got in he still got in I ended up nearly I don't know you probably don't remember it but Albania was my first game
No, the boys have done terrific since the 10 over there.
But let me tell you, Gayfield is a real difficult place because even if the sun's splitting the trees, there's always a wind.
they play they know how to play that really really well and I'm not saying that takes away from their football or whatever but definitely they know how to use the elements and that is a tough place to win games of football but you're right Ayr going up there it's going to be a cracker of a game that The Dunfermline game we've our goalkeepers just went on loan to Dunfermline so he kicked a clean sheet Aston Oxburgh so he had last season done brilliant had a couple of injuries since then and
He played along with my son there.
I'd have probably said because they've got two big centre-backs.
And I think sometimes, you know yourself, Steve, sometimes you put more of a target player up front, there's more long balls going to him.
I think his link play still got to get better because of the amount of games he's missed.
I don't think he's up to that level yet.
Sometimes he'll take it in and sometimes it'll bounce off him.
But I think Martin, quite rightly so, maybe thought Fernandes and that were going to dominate that.
And Celtic don't play that way predominantly anyway.
But I think then if the ball's going into him, you've got to have runners.
And the one thing I would say that Celtic are shot off in the middle of the park, apart from Negron really,
Callum is not going to run and you had Oxlade-Chamberlain in there so there are no guys that's going to run by it and they're not but Gary would play Oxlade-Chamberlain Peter what's your what do you think the team will be that Martin O'Neill will pick for tomorrow night I think just with the way the game's coming thick and fast I think he'll go Haroha right back Murray scales Sarachi instead of Kieran and that's not down to Kieran's performances it's just it keeps coming off so he'd play what 60 minutes 70 minutes you see that and I just think it's always a worry that and I think Sarachi's never let us down as well
I would keep Hattati in because if you've got him in that little bit of form I would keep him in even though it's one game because then the responsibility sits he's a human being he must be who wouldn't love the adulation that he got from the Celtic fans at the end and the way the manager is speaking a lot of that shit you work hard and run you know talent will come along with it as long as you work hard and run but his body language doesn't allow you that at times I would definitely have Nigren in the team because I just think I look at Celtic I look through the team who's going to score goals
And by the way, Martin O'Neill never got the credit for it because even when he was taking Nigren off late in the game, I wouldn't have done that because I'm thinking, where are we going to score from?
But the man he replaced him with, James Forrest, was excellent, positive, put the ball in for the penalty kick.
So he deserves great credit for that.
But that's the position of the pitch that I'm a bit concerned.
