With Islam, it's different.
Halal is growing hugely.
And over 40%, I know in the UK, over 40% of halal food is eaten by non-Muslims.
It's put out there, certainly by Gen Zers, as ethical or better for you.
It is no such thing.
It's just a new quirky way of pushing it.
But the size of the industry and the impact on people
especially government institutions, on schools, on hospitals, on prisons.
Many of them go fully halal because it's too difficult to have two suppliers, two preparation areas.
It's simply easier to go all halal because, of course, with Islam, you run the risk of legal action.
And, of course, with Judaism...
It doesn't have that aggression.
Judaism is not trying to force itself or attack the country Jews are in, where Islam is so different.
