And then it spread more broadly.
And obviously, there are a lot of reasons that people in Iran are dissatisfied with their government.
But that was the precipitating force.
Then you also had, you know, the Israelis and others bragging about Mossad agents into the streets alongside the protesters.
Like, we can't be Pollyanna-ish and imagine that the U.S.
and Israel were not involved at all, that they were totally hands-off.
No, they were trying to engineer this level of pressure.
And this has been, you know, acute in this instance, these tactics that are being deployed.
But this has been the long-term strategy of the U.S.
So, you know, that's worth putting out there just in terms of thinking about.
They've tried a variety of techniques.
