Unfortunately, there's research coming now out of Victoria that even though we've had a big push in the last decade, we've had the STEM initiative.

We called it the National STEM Strategy.

The Federal Education Council really pushed for STEM outcomes for schools, and a lot more funding was put towards schools.

Unfortunately, we're finding that that funding wasn't given as well to students in terms of teachers.

And there's a sentiment out there that the way to teach science and the process to teach science hasn't really changed.

And that's really a concern because

As our curriculum and as our day gets busier and more packed, we are at the point where science again now gets pushed as an outlier and as an extra subject to fit in between performances and sport and any extracurricular activities.
