Well, first, I was offended by what he said.

I think after playing for 15 years...

Yeah, it's competitive and it's at times verbal, but what he said was commonplace.

It was so far removed from what I've experienced, particularly with the effort the AFL have put in the last 10 years.

I was astounded that he said that.

And immediately at that point, he became untenable to hold that position if that was how he thought the game should be played.

I think there's a myriad of issues involved.

I just don't understand why we've got a system that ends up there in the first place.

I think if we remove the fact that the outcome that he found was just incorrect, his supporting evidence for why he got there was just, I don't know, offensive to so many people, and his removal was just in my mind.

But I just don't know how we got there.

Like, I think, unfortunately for Young, Collard was he was found guilty.

There was enough evidence.

The penalty at that point was severe, but that's how we always knew it was going to be.

We won't we won't accept that.

We won't accept that language in that behavior.

So

I just, all I can get to is like one plus one did not equal two in that whole circumstance.

And I was happy that the AFL swiftly moved.

But if you actually go back to what does this look like outside looking, you know, a young

makes a mistake, deeply offends people, should be rightly punished.
