How quickly do we get that?
We go straight to the tribunal and then there's an appeal and there's this and there's that.
And it just gets to a point where we're so removed from just being a sporting league.
We get in this weird world and we just open ourselves up to unnecessary risks where at some point there would have been so easy to say, no, this is our game.
And we governed it ourselves.
This is standing or this is what's happening.
I find it very hard just to follow the line of how we got there, let alone what was clearly the wrong person making the wrong decisions at the wrong time.
Yeah, I just think I understand the point.
Let's get the lawyers involved because we're objective and it's really important at times.
I totally understand the concept, but I just think we're just so far removed.
I understand it's professional, it's objective.
Let's get the lawyers in.
There's only one group of people that win from this whole outcome.
That's the lawyers.
You could save all that money and do so many other amazing things.
And I think deep down,
Like I might not ever get over the amount of money spent on the Zach Butters thing.
I understand the Zach Butters outcome was more about principle and character than it was around the $1,500 fine.
But there's smarter people than me that could work out that I'm sure that probably cost well over $50,000 to run that process and probably close to the six figures, which just seems just so like removed from reality.
But when you get lawyers involved, you're no longer arguing about the game.
