And right at the moment, our academy options aren't foreseeable in the next 12 or 18 months.

So by 28, I expect to have far more options in that position coming forward as backups and as depth for the coach to be able to use.

In a number of our positions, we don't have that backup depth right at the moment.

That's why we went out and bought Sean O'Sullivan.

We went out and bought Gordon Kumchong Tong.

And we went out and bought Kay Dykes, who was a fallback 5'8", who's had an injury in the last couple of years.

And we're trying to get him back rehabbed into playing first grade.

So they were seen as three more experienced depth players that could conceivably help us out this year in the case of an emergency.

Eventually, I want them to be young fellas who come through our system from there.

But you've always got to try and buy depth.

It depends who the player is and depends what position they are and depends what happens between now and June 30 depth-wise.

You know, we've got...

We've probably got, we've identified probably 20, anywhere between 20 and 30 of our young academy players that we hope are NRL potential over the next two or three seasons.

And they train in a special academy group and how quickly they emerge, how quickly they are for first grade in the next couple of years will determine a lot of our recruitment strategy going through.

You're wanting to paint scenarios and you're wanting to ask questions, et cetera, which is fine.

And there's some questions you can't answer at the moment because we don't know how quickly these kids will come on.

Some might come on early, some might take years to do, and then you've got to go out and buy depth in between them to get you through that next period as well.

I'd have to sell the grandstand at Belmore, wouldn't I, to get a Nathan Cleary.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

Yeah, so we'll see what happens November 1 with Nathan Cleary, whether he's decided on his future before then or what have you, but...
