Moment of the day is the did-it-didn't-it clearance from Nyland, the Norwegian goalkeeper, that everybody, except for FIFA and the ball apparently, thought hit a cable that was on the Sky camera over the pitch in Miami.
Did it hit, Phil?
Well, FIFA say that there is a sensor in the ball.
Obviously, we know that because it can pick up the flick of hair, as it did in the Portugal-Croatia game.
FIFA say there was no alert from the sensor at all.
They say it was working the whole time.
The problem is that looking at the videos...
Everybody thinks they can see the trajectory changing and the spin of the ball.
And people on the Norway bench are absolutely adamant that it did hit the cable.
But FIFA say no.
It did lead to, or at least that clearance led to England's equaliser.
So it was kind of significant.
But we move on.
It's very hard to explain why the ball just suddenly goes unless it's catching.
Well, it's the triumvir, isn't it?
Yeah.
Well, that's it.
Yeah, oddsworth.
But I don't know.
It wouldn't be much skin off FIFA's nose, really, to just say, yes, it did, if it did.
