And not because it was Haaland that scored it, but because it was Haaland who almost missed it.
I had a look.
And just as a nod to Duncan Alexander, who loves his stats, it was an XG of 0.8, which is pretty much unmissable and absolutely unmissable for Haaland.
But he did this little thing with his face when he first hit it, as if to say,
I think he just missed that.
And I think if he'd put it closer to the keeper, it would have been the worst chance he'd ever not converted.
So even he was bundling that in.
But big goal, big goal.

They were really good for Mexico at the same time as Ecuador.
Ecuador have been such a letdown at this tournament.
And I think two things I saw with them tonight.
Firstly, and I don't think I'm telling anybody anything they don't know here.
The end of Valencia up front is just a massive hindrance for them.
It doesn't make them function at all, and they didn't.
But also, as the game went on, the sort of big game temperament just wasn't there.
They were a complete embarrassment towards the end, especially in Kapi with that red card.
