So I will take that all day long.
There's this odd thing about Scotland under Steve Clarke that they have the habit from time to time of looking like they all got together in a lay-by about three hours earlier and are just kind of making the best of it.
And it was a little bit like that tonight.
But the thing was the result, because the way the tournament's set up, you win your first game and you're not quite there to the knockouts, but you're pretty much there.
So we do this calculation all the time in the Athletic.
88% chance now, or 89% chance now, that Scotland go through to the knockouts, which they've never done before.
So on that basis, happy days, as long as we don't talk about the performance.
Well, we were saying that I think Flower of Scotland, the anthem beforehand, is probably the best sung anthem at the tournament so far.
Just to recap about the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314, when we gave England and Edward II an absolute shoo-in up north.
If you still care about those things, then a big deal.
