All of that stuff.

I would watch TV and then I'd go back in the bedroom and pretend like I'm the host of the Ed Sullivan show, you know.

And I don't know that I gave them names, but I went into character.

The first character voice I did was James Mason in the movie 55 Days at Peking.

I could watch this movie and James Mason was Chinese in this film, you know.

And I just was starting to do this James Mason voice, you know.

It's the first character voice I did.

And then the next one you do is kind of hillbilly because that's an easy one.

And New York's very easy.

So you go for all these easy dialects and you start to...

And you rope your sister in.

I roped my little sister Marianne in, and she was the best audience in the world.

I would do these sketches where I would sit her down and say, okay, I'm going to go into that office and I'm going to tell that guy what I think.

And I'd go into my bedroom, close the door, and then come out dragging my leg behind me.

And she'd howl with laughter because I just got my ass kicked by the guy behind the door.

So that was Marianne, and we would go out with a reel-to-reel tape recorder that I had, and I would interview her.

I don't know what I was saying to her, but I would say, I actually played this for my father, and I said, please, Marianne, this is a family show.

My dad roared at that line.

I don't even know what the hell I said to her.
