And you look at some of these guys that ran these companies from ABC, Cap Cities, and I know the names.
I won't mention them.

They were the most gutless people, worthless people, and decided, sure, let's flush an entire industry down the can.
Because as I said, we were just talking this past weekend, in film, you can give an award to a movie that doesn't make money.
Still give it an Academy Award.
Why?
Because you appreciate the goddamn art.
In television, Hill Street Blues got five Emmys, man, and they were about ready to bounce it off the air.
It wasn't getting a viewership.
Only in radio is the making of money the only goddamn thing they care about.
And the art, the content?
So when you don't concentrate on content, you're only concentrating on making money, which means selling commercials, you're basically flushing the medium down the toilet.
There's nothing to put the commercials in.
So you're right.
When you say I didn't feel supported, you're right about that.
No, and you sure as hell, even if you suggest something, they're not going to take your suggestion.
