And I said, you know, it sounds, and you've said this before, Jase, it sounds almost counter intelligent to say you have to surrender to fight. I mean, it seems like it's the opposite, but I, well, I made the point that there was two times in our American history in the last hundred years. One was after December 7th, 1941 after Pearl Harbor.

And the other one more recent in all of our memories was after 9 11. I said, what happened when people recognized that as a people, as a country, as a culture, you were literally under attack because people were literally dropping bombs on you?

Across America, hundreds of thousands, the day after these things happened, hundreds of thousands of American, mostly young men, especially in the 41 case, were flocking to recruiting stations and raising their right hand and surrendering to the good of the United States of America and say, I'm willing to serve to try to deal with what we're up against.

And I made the point, that's what we're doing here. It's finally reaching us at a heart level that the battle is so big, I can't not be in it. And so I had to submit myself. So I'm surrendering. Because, you know, when you go in the military, you're saying not my will, but... whoever's going to be telling you what to do for the next two to four years.

So I compared it to that and what we do, that finally we get to this place where we're saying, all right, it's big enough, I'm all in. So I kind of thought about that when you were describing this one.
