You have to think bigger. I came to the same conclusion yesterday in Ephesians 6. I said, as a young man, I looked at this passage only in that I needed armor to fight for myself. And now I realize when I look at it in the context of the whole book of Ephesians that started out Ephesians 1 with the idea that everything is in Christ, the Holy Spirit now indwells us.

I'm fighting for something way bigger than that, which is why Paul closes that. What does he say when he says, pray for me at the end of Ephesians 6, that I may declare victory? boldly the word of God, that I may make it clear to everyone. So the only reason you need armor is because you're engaged in a battle for other people to understand what this is all about.
