Theologically, I think why this matters, there's a term called the one and the many, kind of in Christian circles, and a lot has been written on this, but
If God is many, God is just like a thousand gods, then what you have is the way that that would play out in your world.
If that's who God is, it would just be complete anarchy because he's just everything.
He's just everywhere.
Your truth, my truth, it's just complete anarchy.
It's Mad Max.
That's what that looks like downstream.
If God is one, like he's one person, then it's tyranny.
Because you've got a king, he's running the show, everything is under him, and it's just tyrant rule and authoritarianism.
