And I said, I think it'd be a good icebreaker that you were blown up in a Humvee over in Afghanistan.

Right.

But you're following one who can't be blown up.

And then you listen to a bunch of lies on why you were blown up.

But guess what?

The guy who can't be blown up, he's going to tell me the truth.

And whatever he says is right.

And I was just making that analogy from where we're at in the resurrection.

But the bottom line is...

That is the fact that changed all their life.

And I think we should look at these little interactions as because Jesus was using these people, despite their weaknesses, to then be his representatives.

That's why he said, I'm going to not just my father.

But your father, he hadn't been speaking like this the whole time.

To my God, he's been saying, I come from the Father.

I come from the Father.

Our Father, he did say that in his prayer, our Father in heaven.

I think that's the only other time that's said.

But then he says, my God and your God.

And so then she gets to go and you can read the other accounts.

She's the first person that gets to declare the good news.
