I've managed to have a sneak peek of this case study pool.
It looks really great.
And one thing that stood out to me was the relationship between the Eurozone PMI and uh Eurozone GDP data that's out there.
So the PMI data up, I think mid Q2 was looking at showing some weakness potentially in the GDP numbers.
Is that still the case?
Yeah, it's interesting that we're seeing that subdued picture in the PMI export data.
Especially when you consider the fact that in some of the official numbers that have come out, now I'm sure as many listeners are aware, some of the official export data have looked pretty punchy of late, actually.
I've seen some pretty strong growth, particularly out of Asian economies in recent months.
And if you look into the detail of these export official export reports, it seems there's a pretty consistent picture of export.
Being driven by semiconductors and other products related to the AI boom, the data center build-out that we're seeing.
And on that topic, it's worth pointing out that with official data, official export data, they are in, or they are reported, I should say, in nominal or value terms.
