Uh y you mentioned uh Ozzy Trapillo and I had a conversation with the inimitable Brad Biggs, who you all know.

And in this discussion he was pointing out that

You know, they put him

on IR, you know, he can't practice.

And it may be a case where they sacrifice that spot.

Uh so he has that ability to slowly uh ramp up, slowly practice, get his confidence back, because his coaches keep mentioning, you know, we want him confident, we want him confident uh at that left tackle spot.

Uh so that may be a sacrifice they have to make.

Uh with Hayden Large, uh I'm really glad that you pointed that out because I was surprised by that too.

I'm surprised that

They didn't go with Steven Carlson for one thing.

Mm.

I mean, that's a lot of youth in that room between him and Sam Rausch.

Yeah.

Um, but it's also an indication that the Bears really want to go more with thirteen personnel.

So they they need a fourth tight end, and particularly one that can block as well as Hayden Large can block because I think Ben Johnson has a lot of things that he wants to do in the running game in particular.

um and then play action um by having three tight ends on the field.

Uh i I think it's a indication he's got some tricks up his sleeve.

It is.

I mean, and of course, I'm sure those comments were off the record 'cause I haven't seen any.
