Yeah, and I mean we'll talk about this a little bit more later in the in the episode 'cause you know, talking about chronic illness, talking about mental health is really conversations I have every single day with clients.
Yeah.
And it's been a a a big increase in in claims.
And so this is why, you know, we look at insurance as like a bill, but it's really a a safety net, a financial safety net.
So there's been two point two billion dollars worth of claims paid out for mental health um conditions uh just in twenty twenty four.
Yeah.
And this is like double more than what it was five years ago.
So it's a it's a steep increase.
One in three claims are paid out for um mental health for T P D, one in five for income protection, and so and that's just one area of claims.
Um and so it just shows the importance of making sure we have cover in place.
We have that safety net behind us, yeah.
Should we ever need to claim.
Mm.
Yeah, but uh that was a bee.
That was a bee.
In one year.
Um yeah, and it just shows how important it is to make sure we have, you know, a safety net.
The government is a huge safety net in this, a hundred billion dollars.
