And this is the thing that I I I find really interesting about insurance companies is insurance companies are the only um partners with an individual going through a chronic illness that is financially incentivized them to get back to full health.
And so, you know, it is an interesting dynamic.
Everyone thinks, oh, they just want to kick me off claim so they don't need to pay me.
No, they want you to go to back to full health.
Yeah, exactly.
And so and and the other thing is there are kind of like workplace, you know, chronic illness support and policies, flexible working environments that is helping people.
So, you know, seventy nine percent of people with endometriosis say that working from home makes symptoms much more manageable.
So in terms of and n not sure if she's eligible for income protection, if you're off work for any health reason, any sickness, you are eligible.
Now, income protection has a waiting period.
Most super funds, their waiting period default is ninety days.
So that's the downside is you're gonna have to be off work for ninety days um to be eligible for those payments.
But if if that is the case, then they will be eligible for a claim.
In terms of additional insurances, one thing when it comes to insurance is we can't cover things that are historical medical events.
So we can't go, oh, I'll get a new income protection policy that will cover me for that endo treatment, which is unfortunate.
We can't.
But that's how home and contents works.
That's how car insurance works.
