Um, and and it w I I coexamined this with Alyssa Nay, who's a very distinguished philosopher of physics, who has no time for the soul.

at all.

I mean and I don't either for that matter.

Um, but we were both very impressed.

What a sophisticated piece of work this is.

I mean, just to show really, we don't know enough about the workings of the brain to know whether there are new causal dynamics at the level of consciousness.

Uh me and Sean Carroll have argued for hours about this.

He thinks, you know, that would mess with

physics too much.

I mean we both agree, you know, we we don't we can't we don't know enough about the brain to rule it out from examining the brain.

But what Sean Carroll says is, you know, you'd have to mess with physics a lot.

Well this PhD I examined by Jonathan Emery, I'll I'll flag up his name there, um has has explored, you know, exactly how you'd have to mess with physics.

And it's, you know, th there are options there.

So so yeah, so so that's that's my hunch that there will be new causal dynamics and if we can pin them down then we can say, ah, that's what you need for consciousness, and we'll know.

We'll know whether consciousness is computational, biological.

But in until we get there or until someone else finds another I mean, that's my hunch.

I'm not saying that's the only you know, there's lots of different things going on with

Consciousness at the moment, maybe someone else will have a better way of doing it.

But at the moment it's just it's just a mess.

And and to be honest, my view is the trajectory is more and more people from all sides of this debate.
