Are they very different experiences?

And is there a greater willingness to talk about mental health issues in an urban environment or a rural environment amongst younger people?

So we're going to dig into the book in a moment.

I'm going to ask you to read just to give a sort of emblematic sense of what it is you're doing in this book.

But just before you do that, what caused you to turn your attention to this subject at this point?

Why did you choose to write about mental health

how you deal with it in your professional capacity, how we all, and it's part of all of our lives, in one way or another, every single one of us is touched and affected by issues relating to our own mental health, the mental health of others, the well-being of others, the human well-being, as you write in your conclusions of the book.

But what catalyzed, what made you move from writing your completely marvelous travel books to a completely marvelous book about this issue?

Right.

you went longer on the positives than on the negatives.

And presumably one of the reasons you're thinking about these questions and have put pen to paper is to address the negatives of the person coming to you with a fixed sense of what is causing their situation.

Can you tease that out a bit more and what it is,

you're hoping to open up by addressing these issues in this way?

I'm fascinated by these two publications.
