They have, imagine the amount of times they've heard about a course, about this team nearly getting there, the amount of years it's taken to get to win an All-Ireland.
They can't completely block that out.
They grew up watching it.
They were part of it.
So that's all in their mindset right now.

I think he has to.
I think he's got enough experienced lads there, you know, Shea, O'Connors, to get them to maybe be going through that experience of, here, look, lads, let's not think about winning here.
Let's think about performing.
Does that make the job easier though?
subconsciously he'll say some of those things because that's his programme and he's heard that, but maybe he'll be conscious of it as well and say, no, I didn't like that when that happened, when I was in the final.
But I would think what was really important to this Mayo group, it's not actually so much that it can, sorry, be important, the communication this week, but I think the communication from the very get-go as he walked in that door is key.
