You're kind of going, this is a mess.
It's a total mess.
And it comes back to the, obviously the topic of what we said about Michael Murphy in Crow Park, getting away with a couple of sucker punches into the carry player.
And yeah, Jerry Brennan got a huge ban around that similar time.
So, but it's an interesting topic, isn't it?
It's interesting.
It's been, you know, the thing that's been spoken about so much.
It's interesting, but detracts from the brilliant game that it was, bar the setting off.
When the setting off happened, obviously, then things changed.
Just take the football side of things out of the way for a second, because I think there's a piece that people are kind of touching on, but actually probably going into the detail a huge amount that I find interesting.
Maybe the viewers, the listeners here wouldn't, but I do think it's interesting.
I have no doubt that Donegal set out to disrupt Kerry in terms of the dark arts and the mindset side of things.
I would have felt that Jim McGuinness's energy in trying to get a Kerry player sent off would give me an indication of how emotional he was and how that would have had to be preempted.
And not just that, there was so many other incidents.
as soon as a Donegal player was being pulled, tagged, or they were being confrontational, they were dropping to the ground.
Now there's a couple of instances, I'm sure you might go into it, the Morphy one, sorry, the Clifford one, where he probably sticks his elbow up into, I think it was McGonagall, wasn't it?
So there was times where Kerry players were biting, which was surprising for me.
I thought Kerry would have honed in on just, right, okay, let's focus on playing football here, which is about that brilliance of that.
And give it to Donegal when you can, but don't get caught up in it.
Whereas Donegal, I would have felt, would have had, I wouldn't say a huge amount of time that would have been spent on the dark arts of it, but they would have said, listen, they're going to go after Murphy.
