It is less expensive to buy or to develop than it is in other parts of Loudoun County.
I've said so many times that my biggest fear for St.
Louis is that homes will be built and it will,
raise the tax values and put people out of their homes who've been there for generations.
I don't know if the right word is gentrification or not.
We were worried about this with what we then called the Mojax property.
It was purchased by Mr. Kuhn and then set in the conservation easement.
Now we have another threat to St.
Louis.
It is not okay.
Sometimes something can be legal and still not okay.
Just because something is not illegal to do doesn't mean it's right to do.
There's a difference between having the right to do something and it being the right thing to do.
It is not right to continue to try to basically take advantage of the people of St.
Louis in these ways that would displace them and displace families that have been there for years.
And so I appreciate this and I am really getting frustrated.
with the continual either ignoring or taking advantage of older communities in Loudoun County that happened to also be older minority communities in Loudoun County.
They've either been roundly ignored or people have come in to try to do something that will harm the citizens of that community.
Every single one of those citizens in all those communities, whether it's Howardsville, Willisville, St.
