Louis wastewater service areas source system be deferred until a zoning ordinance and zoning map amendment needed to implement the general plans policies for St.
Louis has been adopted by the Board of Supervisors
and the Department of Planning and Zoning or other appropriate staff be directed to report to the Board of Supervisors at a future business meeting if any further Board of Supervisors action is necessary to implement such deferral.

Okay, so this addresses community concerns in St.
Louis over the potential for large scale development in the village.
Although the comprehensive plan update for a small area plan is complete, the zoning, a driving factor behind the community's interest in having a small area plan for the village has not yet been addressed.
and we heard tonight it might not be addressed until 2028.
This motion is to protect the village from overdevelopment by limiting any further expansion of the wastewater surface area until the zoning ordinance is updated to meet the policies of the small area plan and
It also helps address, we've had concerns before about overdevelopment, and Chair Randall and I went out and addressed that issue with the Mojax development, but there are other threats in the Village, and I just want to ensure that the service area is not
expanded and there aren't any additional connections beyond what was anticipated.
