We have agreed to limit all of our traffic leaving the facility.

They must turn left and go straight out to Crosstown Boulevard to avoid any potential cut through traffic through the neighborhood.

And we've done that through signage.

We've actually done it with like warping the curbs to block people from making that right turn.

There was questions about the types of deliveries that would occur.

And when people think warehouse, they think, oh my gosh, it's like a flex warehouse like commercial project that would have on average 37 deliveries, most of them coming in 18 wheelers per day.

This is not that type of use.

Based on the current delivery experience at the other DGS warehouses, we're expecting four to five deliveries per day.

And the majority of those will actually arrive in like the Amazon trucks and the FedEx vehicles that are making deliveries in the neighborhood.

Ernie's been working in DGS for 10 years.

He said he's never seen an 18 wheeler make a delivery to the DGS warehouses.

That doesn't mean it may never happen, but he has never seen it in 10 years.

There was also concerns just about the Natchez Drive roadway itself.

It's a VDOT road.

It's two lanes, but it is wide enough to allow parallel parking on one side on the other side of the street.

And what we learned from the community input was that the majority of the people that park on the street near Cross Trail Boulevard are actually parking there not from the neighborhood, but to get to the WNOD Trail.

So they're not...

residents of Tuscarora Crossing.

They're just parking there because it's convenient to get to the trail.

And they actually make it really hard to see.
