Yeah, I'm the Toyota project manager at Haas F1, which means that I have to coordinate and drive all our various projects with Toyota, primarily technical.
And we have three main projects, let's say, plus a few additional projects.
But the main projects are the TPC programmers.
Obviously, that's what we're doing here.
The simulator, driving the loop simulator, and the composite parts production.
Yeah, that's right.
I mean, at a team level, the TPC is obviously under the framework of the FIA.
We can do 20 days a year, so many miles with a car that's normally two years old, etc.
And ultimately, the philosophy of TPC is probably to train either drivers or personal.
Now, in our case, in our partnership with Toyota, the focus is the driver development program that I'd like to see as a joint program, not only a Toyota program, but it is obviously involving lower categories as well for Toyota.
So we provide the Formula One layer, if you like, and the opportunity to test the drivers in the fastest cars in the world.
And yes, it's the program we were able to...
to reach maturity the first because I'd like to think we know how to run a car but having said that for us we still had to set up the operation independent from the race team there was quite a lot of setting up logistics recruitment that went on last year that went quite well and aside from the drivers already we've had a few technicians that have
been part of a team last year that made it to our race team this year.
So that's already been a little success there.
We're seeing also engineers, including from Toyota, it's very important for them to allow their staff to embed with the team and get the know-how back in their business.
And in terms of drivers, of course, the holy grail is obviously to develop a driver all the way to a race seat.
it's F1, it's a meritocracy, it will happen if the circumstances are right, if everything, all the boxes are ticked, let's say, and time will tell.
I think typically, the way the TPC framework exists with the regulations, two-year-old cars typically, you normally can live on the stock of parts.
Unless you go through too many wings or something, you probably have to repair a few.
