Um but b but while I was teaching part time
I met a a w a wonderful woman called Imogen Cooper who has set up the Golden Egg Academy.
The Golden Egg Academy aims to help people get the the support, the resources, the instruction they need to make their books children's books submission ready.
Um and I trained with her.
Uh m I guess mainly because I wanted to increase my story.

And then blow me if she didn't ask me to have a
have a go at doing some editing for her and that turned into a very, very busy workload and I've worked with probably
A hundred writers.
And na and I'm seeing their names on the bookshelves, which is which is very, very gratifying.
It really was a one of those lovely examples of the universe looking after me.
Because I'd been wanting to get a story cafe started at the bookshop for a while and along came this lovely email saying um you know, when we had the YA Club.
Yeah.
So it um i i it it's worked out really, really well and I hope that it continues.
This is well, I I came across a competition quite separate to to hear a a big um online competition.
Uh it's a company I think it's either Calibra or Calibre, I'm sorry, um, but they
are an audiobook production company and the prize is having your work produced and well Shine Radio got in first then in that case.
Oh you were so excited.
