I'm down Dorset Way.
That's where I'm originally from.
And I was like, I've always wanted to.
My great uncle was in the job.
And I sat and I thought, you know what?
I'd love to do it.
And then I went to uni and I thought, actually, I'd rather go to London, really.
And it's the everyday's different.
Or maybe really do it.
Do the days whiz by for you?
Sometimes.
And then sometimes when you're on a crime scene or a hospital guard and... Hospital guard?
So certain instances, so like if someone's been injured and it might be crime related or it might be protection means or mental health, we might all go to hospital and we'll sit with them and we'll stay with them and...
maintain their safety so it will do that for like a you could do that for a 10 hour 12 hour shift just sitting there um and then a crime scene once again like if there's crime scene there's tape there's an and it's you know someone's got to be there yeah yeah so sometimes you go make sure no one touches this basically basically standing by a bit of tape and then you're sitting there looking at your phone going cool 10 hour shift and then you're standing there
I make sure my phone's charged, I make sure my work laptop's charged, and I make sure I've got food on there.
That's my protocol.
When you find someone that's got a chair or you can lean, when there's a chair there, you see the coppers who can see a chair, they're smiling.
And all the ones who haven't got a chair.
I've been leaning and I've had a super walk past me, a superintendent walk past me and they've just gone, afternoon, have you had food?
