I have a ton of respect for Devin.
You know, we drafted Devin in the end of the first round there when I was in Jacksonville.
He was a guy you could not get out of the building.
Uh he's gonna pour himself into learning the skiing there in Carolina.
Um he's you know as as good as it looks in terms of off the hoof for a linebacker position.
He can run, he can cover.
He w had a knack for taking the ball away.
I remember that his rookie year especially, um, did a good job just being around fumbles, forcing fumbles, having interceptions.
So he's a player that can do everything.
Uh he's a pretty good blitzer.
Our our running backs have to be aware of that as well if they get in situations where they're in pass protection against him.
But uh tons of respect for Devin.
Yeah, right now that that's the biggest thing.
I mean, we're not gonna do anything until we master the fundamentals of everything we're talking about.
So when we get really good at our just base, call it and run it wide zone schemes, then we're gonna have all the compliments off of it that you know, a defense sees it over and over and over, they play it a certain way, and now we wanna hit with uh this counterpunch, if you will.
That's something that comes up more um
in season, game to game, week to week.
Uh and it it it comes off what you're doing.
But again, we can't get into that stuff until we feel the guys have really mastered what we're trying to do.
It doesn't make sense to move on to the next thing or you know, to even hit the counterpunch when you're not good at your jab to begin with.
