So they've not really monetized the full opportunity of their infrastructure.
So the infrastructure itself, without AI, without cloud, without anything, is they still have some growth potential there.
At the same time, you've got explosive spending on uh infrastructure for AI, two point five trillion in twenty twenty six, and that's uh four forty four percent year on year growth.
Uh it's it's growing at you know staggering C AGR numbers.
You've got
Genai value chain for investment uh something like uh you know $4.4 trillion.
Um, you know, uh that's the potential estimated value of of you know of investment that could take take up, uh like the Gen AI industry could take up.
And the question is, um, are telcos going to capture that, you know, as platform providers, or are they gonna subsidize infrastructure for people who want to use the AI?
AI, right?
So that's the question that that you you kind of need to answer.
And then of course, like I mentioned earlier, there are growth pressures, um, you know, that and the you know, return on investment um, you know, for the infrastructure of 5G that they're still trying to figure out how to monetize.
So you call that like technical debt.
So they're suffering the debt, they're a debt, debt, and then they're suffering the the RPU growth, and then of course uh the pressures for
Investing now heavily in AI and AI infrastructure, and all of these three things are coming at telecom operators at the same time all at once.
So when you talk about the risks of you know for the telecom industry, this is something that uh they really have to uh you know be sensitive to in terms of the market dynamics and where they're gonna operate.
And every every ounce of effort and investment that they're going to place uh has to be
Be uh very guided by what are the outcomes that they're trying to drive uh you know specifically.
So when you when you look at the uh you know the ri uh the the sort of challenges for operators and how and how they can kind of build uh platforms that uh will help dominate, right?
Uh uh or at least put them in a dominating uh position, I think uh they need to focus on this disagg uh
