You're going to need a union MBA as a subcontractor, a small sub, or else you can't get hired for government contracts.
So this is how, look, you know, the Labour Party is controlled by the unions.
Unions represent a minuscule number of Australians.
Like hardly any of our working population is represented actually a member of a union.
They wield immense power in this country, as you know, and you've seen it yourself on your own construction sites.
But this has really pissed me off because...
If you're a small contractor and you've got enough problems, as it is, you've got all the OH&S regulations, which a lot of them are spurious.
You've got a lot of regulation and licensing and a lot of taxes, of course, a lot of paperwork.
You've got employee payroll taxes, all these things hold you back.
And now you've got to kowtow to union demands, even if your staff aren't unionized.
Mm-hmm.
So they don't work for a union, but unless the wages you're paying them has been sanctioned by a union, you might not be allowed to work on government contracts.
And this is the way the government controls it.
The government wants people to work in public service.
The government wants people to work in the NDIS.
We've got to pull that thing back.
And why do you think they want that to happen?
But that's been going for a long time.
