It's very important.
So those three things, calcium, vitamin D,
protein, the building blocks, and then just move more.
Do not sit around all day.
I know I've said that walking is not effective, but walking is better than sitting on your bottom.
So even if you do have a fall, oftentimes people develop a fear of falling and so they don't go out as much.
They sit on the couch and all that is doing is increasing your risk of falling a second time.
So
You know, if worse comes to worse and you're not able to do any of those three things that I mentioned, either Duo Nero, have a telehealth appointment with us or Duo Nero online, maybe just join a gym and get somebody to help you do some type of exercise in the gym.
Anything is better than nothing.

If you're able to definitely, if it looks like you're heading into menopause, get yourself a baseline.
Find out where you started.
And then only then will you be able to understand how much you're losing.
Some people lose more than others.
Certainly from that baseline, you then really need to be getting one every two years or so just to check through menopause that you're not losing too much.
And you might want to talk to your doctor about the options that are available to you.
If you started very low...
and perhaps you've seen your parents or grandparents with severe osteoporosis, menopause is the time to take advantage of hormone replacement, or they're calling it menopausal hormone therapy now.
That might be an opportune time to get on that before you lose too much.
