that there are many people in Ireland that are harmed.

But the question is, what are we doing for them and what are we providing for them in terms of service?

At the moment, there's a gross under-provision in terms of service.

And I know the gambling regulator is looking at that at present in terms of the social fund and getting some of the

services, you know, improved but really we lag so far behind on that and ultimately what we need is we need inpatient and outpatient treatment services in every province and we need a network then of consultant-led multidisciplinary teams that will help individuals who, as you refer to, will have difficulties.

I don't know is the answer to that.

But what I do know is that, you know, an individual who potentially is going to run into difficulty with gambling.

be that in Cork, Kerry, Dublin.

This idea of insider trading on secret military information or companies' movements in the States or whatever, that doesn't affect the vast majority of people here in Ireland.

I think this polymarket issue, I mean, we have to be concerned, is it coming in in terms of proliferation of gambling?

Is it going to bring gambling

out to a wider net of individuals.

I think that's absolutely the case.

We should be concerned about that.

But after that, in terms of the people making big sums of money, I've read the reports and the concerns and the court cases in the States, that is not going to affect the individuals on the ground looking for treatment, be it from polymarkets or otherwise.

And I think the big story really over the last two decades is

that we've had an awful lot of people who have had difficulty from the gambling product.

Of course, we've had people who've enjoyed it as well.

But the people who have been harmed need treatment.

We know only about one in eight individual who runs into difficulty with gambling addiction actually attends for treatment.
