It works.
You can do really crazy things with neurofeedback, but you can't yet treat ADHD.
Right.
Another one that didn't work was cognitive brain training.
They help you to think differently.
The memory ones, programs will help you remember, but they don't treat your ADHD.
It's actually more what you said with the game.
Yeah.
The transfer of learning from the game to the real world was not good.
But you still forgot your car keys.
I mean, we'd hoped that those would work as well, but they didn't.
And there's been more research since, which again continues to say they don't work for that.
Yeah, there is.
You know, we got a lot of flack when we published that paper, particularly for the last one that I haven't told you about yet, which was parent training programs.
And so parent training programs we found had zero effect
on ADHD symptoms.
That's so interesting.
What they did do was they improved positive parenting and they improved oppositional behavior, naughtiness.
And so the message is that those programs are really good for those things that they're good at, but they're not going to cure your ADHD.
Right.
