And he's even got this kind of giant drill, which is sort of boring into the walls of Tyre.

So he's got all of these wild contraptions which are attacking Tyre from every direction.

Yeah, it's basically all sorts of versions of Diades being like, so I thought we could do.

And then Alexander's like, yes.

And so there are all these strange things.

Alexander is out of patience.

He doesn't want to wait for Diades to just fully bring down the walls of Tyre.

He wants to attack immediately.

So he orders Diades to siege towers, the two towers that were protecting the builders on the causeway.

He orders them to make a full frontal assault.

Exactly.

Yeah.

He's built two larger fireproof towers and they've essentially been gradually sort of added to and elaborated until they're these like multi-story contraptions.

Um,

you know, maybe 10 stories tall or so, and kind of lumbering very unsteadily down the promontory.

And Alexander orders a full frontal assault.

So he orders the two towers to be pushed up to the walls of Tyre, basically at the front gate, and he orders his men to go over the wall.

Now, this is way too obvious, right?

Because going straight over the front gate from the two very large towers, which the Tyrians have seen lumbering towards them for months, is a way too obvious version of a frontal assault.
