That's the reality of life.

And I think we have a social responsibility in health as well to make sure that

Every dollar spent is effective and it's sometimes not easy to follow.

Sometimes the whole issue around integration and primary health care kind of services or prevention is areas where we should be spending our money as well.

I think there's definitely efficiencies.

But also, I think one thing that we kind of forget about is the long-term consequences.

The challenge with drug-resistant TB is that it knows no borders, it's airborne.

And if we don't nail it down rapidly, the long-term consequences could be something that would affect not low-income countries, but could transform into upper-income countries as well.
