And I see people quite often who've been throwing off these for a few weeks or even months, and they've just been...

sort of not wanting to bother people and saying, well, I've just got a bit less fit.

But when you take the story, take the history, as we call it, and go through, it's obviously, why didn't they present earlier?

They've been getting worse for another couple of months and they didn't seek medical attention.

So yes, breathlessness, new breathlessness is not normal.

So it clearly has markedly reduced.

If you look at the data for the UK, the number of smokers has clearly gone down in response to all the things you say in terms of banning in pubs and restaurants and the price.

But there's still a tale of people who continue to smoke.

What's more interesting is, well, not more interesting, but what is interesting is in terms of young people, because we've not talked about vaping.

So vaping, in one hand, vaping is better than smoking.

So vaping, you get the nicotine, but you don't get the noxious gases which cause lung cancer.

But you get other noxious gases in these vapes which can cause significant problems in the lungs.

So if you'd ask me if you've got someone who's smoking and they decide to vape, that's probably a good thing.

If they can then stop vaping, that's even better.

What is not a good thing is

young people in droves taking up vaping because it would not surprise you would in in a few years time if there was a large large number of people vaping that we start seeing significant links between vaping and chronic lung disease

I mean, it is rare.

There have been some outbreaks of inflammatory lung disease...

due to vapes containing vitamin E. Why do you put vitamin E in a vape?

There was an outbreak of patients.
