I think consistency is the key for us this year.
you know, clean sheets and becoming hard to beat is really important for us and if we can do that, you know, that will always give us a chance on the other end of scoring goals and winning games and ultimately that's what you want to do but I think consistency is the big thing for us this year and trying to become more, unfortunately, consistent and not Jekyll and Hyde like we were last year.
There were some games we were excellent in last year and
then we could turn up the next game and a bit of pressure on us and it's gone the other way.
But yeah, we're hoping that this year we can be a more solid year for us and there won't be those games where you're looking and going over seven or eight games without a win and hopefully still a way around in your seven or eight games without a loss and trying to build off that.
I don't know, time will tell I suppose.
We've been working really hard in pre-season and everyone's getting to know each other as much as we can.
We've trained a lot, the manager has a style he wants to play and we've been working on that throughout pre-season.
That's all it's about.
It's about building towards the first game of the season and kicking on from there.
Look, if you can get a good result in the first couple of games of the season, it probably brings the supporters on your side even more.
So that's something this year that they've been excellent for the last few years.
But we need to give them something to shout about, give them a little bit more excitement and a happier season than probably what the back half of the season, the last two seasons have been for the club, whereas we've started OK in them.
It's just about kicking on towards the rest of the season rather than actually falling backwards and then looking behind us.
