Today you'll be hearing from Kimberly Campanello, a poet, translator and performance artist.

This interview was recorded last year via Zoom, with Kimberly calling in from Leeds in England and myself calling in from Manhattan in the United States.

We had such a thorough conversation, actually, that we've decided to break this interview up into two episodes.

This episode discusses Kimberly's reconfiguration of Dante's Inferno.

Kimberly has done an extraordinary thing, twinning Dante's journey through hell with narratives of her birthplace of Elkhart, Indiana, her family origins in Puglia, Italy, and life with early onset Parkinson's disease.
