Forecasters say high pressure will trap extreme heat under a dome of air, causing temperatures to soar into the mid to upper 90s at least.
Add in the humidity and it will feel like it's well above 100.
National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Arnold says it will affect states from Michigan to Maryland.
So the center of the heat dome is going to settle right over the Ohio Valley.
Arnold says it will be so hot it will stay hot even during the evening hours.
