Well, my recommendation is just to stick to the actual 20-point plan that Israel agreed to, that the other side agreed to, all the way back when it was announced.

This phase two of the 20-point plan is not phase two of the 20-point plan because of the issue we keep discussing, Steve, the disarming of Hamas.

Israel's concern is not for what type of civil life is built for the Gazans.

And if foreign actors want to come in there and build something wonderful for them, that's great.

But we need Hamas to be disarmed.

We need our final hostage to be released.

Steve Witkoff put out a statement a few days ago before they made the official announcement, the White House made the official announcement of the Board of Peace.

And in his statement, he announced that phase two was gonna begin.

And what he said was as follows, and I'm quoting from his tweet, phase two establishes a transitional technocratic Palestinian administration and begins the full demilitarization and reconstruction of Gaza,

And then it says the U.S.

expects Hamas to comply fully with its obligations, including the immediate return of the final deceased hostage.

Failure to do so will bring serious consequences.

So look, if we stick to that, Israel is fine and this will actually succeed.

Bottom line, this is not just about Israel's security.

If Hamas is not disarmed, then this will just be more death and destruction and conflict and it'll all blow up and it won't work.

That has to happen first.

That's my advice to the president.
