That was one of the very first ones that I read academically, like in class, not just, you know, separate.
So I've been trying to keep that marker in place.
Just as Hughes uses nature in a majority of his work, Sylvia does as well.
Whereas Hughes is focusing kind of on like the feather and the flight and the eye of the great bird.
In this case with Sylvia, every single thing in the natural world, even if it is not alive in the common way, can be seen as something strong and has life and it is violent.
And it has a a soul to it.
Every single thing in the natural world is coming up either for beauty or for chaos or for aid.
