And you know what I mean?
Here's the thing.
You run in a primary, especially when you're to the Senate from a state like California, which is very
one-sided, right?
She would be the same as running a candidate from a very strong red state.
And there are things that are not, you know, when you're fighting for a nomination, it's all in this policy details.
You get very boxed in on policy and everybody triangulates to the center.
It's not special to Kamala Harris.
And it certainly is to me, like, you know, interesting that they highlighted it with her, but not with Trump, given how many things he's flip-flopped on
I mean, if it's clearly somebody who doesn't have values, it's Donald Trump.
So I thought she did a really great job without getting defensive.
And this is this is really the issue I was afraid she would get hung up on, because our tendency is when we're questioned is to get into wonky explanation, which is very defensively oriented.
And she didn't.
She didn't take the time.
time to like go through why she's changed this and that.
She picked the one thing that's most salient and most easy to digest, I think, for swing voters, which is the fracking topic and use that to kind of pivot.
So it was just very brilliantly handled.
