Yeah, I would be pausing any type of renovation, and I just would make sure the mortgage is paid and there's food on the table.

I think that's your priority versus finishing the basement.

Yeah, I mean, around $6,000 would get you all to that good place from an income perspective with that type of mortgage.

So if that's through you doing some work, right, after maternity leave and all of that, or his income going up.

But yeah, it's going to be, yeah, I mean, if he brings in $3,000 April, right, and it's a $1,700 mortgage payment, it's not a lot left.

Yeah, you'll feel it for sure.

Yeah, and your housing situation, April, I mean, even if you guys sold and rented somewhere for three years, that's okay.

Yeah, and then you go buy something later.

Like, it doesn't have to be a home ownership conversation either, right?

So you guys want to look at the totality of your life and say, hey, what are our priorities?

What income will be coming in that meets those priorities?

And then how do we live a life out of that?

That's kind of the backwards way of thinking about it.

Are you thinking like a 15 versus a 30?
