So I was like ready to go with every to-do list you can think of.

Yeah, I thought it would be all about kind of bettering myself and new hobbies and a new me.

And it wasn't that way at all.

It was like this return to things that I had previously loved and just had assumed weren't for me anymore.

I had loved cooking and baking and I just lost the joy in it around the time I started trying to have

kids and life got so busy.

And I just assumed I had gotten lazy.

It was something that other people could do, raise a family and make dinner every night.

And it wasn't for me.

And I was just shocked to find that it wasn't even on my list.

And it just naturally a month in, it was like, I just needed to cook.

I could not stop cooking.

And I just kind of naturally fell into this rhythm of using my time in these ways that I hadn't expected.

First, I like didn't know how to not be on the tight time schedule.

So I was still living like that for the first few weeks.

It was really hard to transition off of it.

And then it just felt wonderful.

People talk about all these things like being present with your kids and in your life.

I'm not sure I really knew what that meant until I was in a position where I didn't

have to partition my life into these five minute increments.
