Most of the people I talk to recognize that a lot of this comes from within them, this pressure that they feel, different personality types, not being able to turn it off, always being attached to their phone. voice-verified

Certainly, people I talk to know that a lot of it is just from them, their own internal pressure. voice-verified

I think there's also a sense that there are bosses that are just unforgiving, that have, you know, kind of crazy, unreasonable expectations. voice-verified

And there are companies that kind of set standards that you'll always be on. voice-verified

So yeah, I think there's blame to go around. voice-verified

You know, we've seen companies try things like meeting-free Fridays, kind of designated focus hours. voice-verified

We've seen companies have kind of listening sessions, taking an almost more like therapeutic approach to this a little bit. voice-verified

And then this kind of extra time off, which was really popular, especially this summer. voice-verified

First, earlier in the pandemic, it was like, you'll get an extra day off for Memorial Day weekend 2020. voice-verified

And then by this summer, it morphed into the whole company is shutting down for a week. voice-verified

And what we hear there is that a lot of employees still feel pressure to work or they have a big project they just have to get out. voice-verified
