And that's how we should feel leaving.

Synagogue after Yom Kippur, going home to now build our sukkah.

And our sukkah, remember, we have three agricultural holidays that kind of tether our year, but each of those three holidays also has nicknames.

And so Passover is called Zman Kherutenu, our time of freedom, because we were freed from Egypt.

And we have Shavuot, that's Zman Matanto Rotinu, that's the time.

Of the gift of the giving of the Torah.

And now we have Sukkot.

And Sukhot's nickname is very simple.

It's called Sman Sim Chatenu, the time of our happiness.

And that's when I have that feeling of the elation of the person walking out of a very intense judgment time.

And the verdict was out for 10 days.

The judge was deliberating, and the judge comes back.

back and says you're free to go.

And that, wow.

That deep breath of joy is how we go in to this Zman Sim Chatenu holiday, this time of our happiness holiday.

And so the interesting thing is what exactly are we celebrating that's making us so happy at this Sukhot holiday?

Well, I think it's a it's a mambo combo of several things.
