You know, he says that at this particular time of year, we have disproportionate personal growth potential, and we should be seizing that.
That opportunity.
But most of the time, what our soul is desiring and what we're doing on the surface day to day are not in alignment.
Those things aren't in alignment.
And the shofar can actually elicit emotions we didn't know were dormant or asleep.
And so the true ah is wake up.
Wake up.
And uh the Shvarim are the three broken sobbing sounds of uh and it it sounds like someone like sobbing and heaving and it's reminiscent of the idea that the soul is crying out to be more deeply connected and in line with our purpose.
I'll tell you that somebody actually wrote to me just last week, someone I don't know, and she said, this is really intense.
She listens to me shouting to her shonday three twenty-eight.
She said it reminds her of the shofar of me screaming to him.
Yeah, that was really interesting.
But I thought like the it's not about me.
It's that she understands that there's a sobbing quality and a wake-up quality that sounds very primal.
And what I think is nice about the shofar is that it's really this link to our roots.
Unlike so many elements in our lives that are different, right?
Like the clothes we're wearing now are different than the clothes they were wearing.
Thousands of years ago, the shoes, the dishes, our houses are so different.
But here we have this exact same tool, this very genuine, authentic, primal tool in our ever-evolving and changing modernity that is thrusting us back and binding us with our roots.
Definitely.
